Ayrotv.com- Saylac- Recent developments involving the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have raised serious alarms regarding the violation of Somalia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. The UAE’s decision to invite Mr. Ciro, the leader of the self-declared “Somaliland,” to an international conference—where only the leaders of recognized sovereign nations are expected to participate—represents a blatant disregard for international law, particularly the UN Charter Article II. This act not only undermines Somalia’s sovereignty but also sets a dangerous precedent for regional stability.

The UAE’s actions beg the question: Why is the leader of the UAE seemingly obsessed with undermining Somalia’s sovereignty? Is there a deeper agenda at play, or is this behaviour indicative of a leader who may be out of touch with the realities of the region? The turmoil experienced in neighbouring countries such as Sudan, Libya, Syria, and Yemen raises concerns about the potential ramifications of such provocations. With every action that destabilizes Somalia, the UAE risks creating further chaos in an already volatile landscape.

Moreover, this recent decision may stem from a personal vendetta against Somalia, possibly linked to the tragic loss of UAE military officers at the hands of terrorists. Such a perspective risks further alienating a nation that has endured immense hardship. While the UAE enjoys relative peace and prosperity, the Somali people continue to face the daily threats of violence and terrorism. It is critical for the UAE’s leadership to understand the human cost of conflict and the ongoing struggles that many Somalis endure, including loss, kidnapping, and violence.

The historical context can not be overlooked. Somalia has extended its hand in solidarity to the UAE during times of need, helping when the latter was less affluent. The apparent disregard for this history raises ethical questions regarding the motivations behind UAE’s actions. Is the UAE leadership acting out of malice, or are they simply misguided in their understanding of the complexities of the region?

Some may speculate that the UAE’s actions could be influenced by external interests, potentially aligning with groups that seek to exploit the region for their own gain. If this is the case, such a strategy would be both reckless and detrimental to the long-standing relationships within the Arab community.

In response to these provocations, Awdal State Movement is calling Somalia’s leadership to take a firm stand. The Somali people must assert their rights and dignity, possibly reconsidering economic ties with UAE companies that seek to undermine their sovereignty. The message must be clear: Somalia will not tolerate violations of its territory.

It is time that the federal government recognises the Awdal State Movement, Maakhir State, as part of the federal government of Somalia. It is the only way to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Somalia.

The Somali identity is deeply rooted in resilience and strength. Throughout history, the Somali people have faced adversities that would have defeated lesser nations. They have shown time and again that their spirit can not be broken. The current situation calls for unity among Somalis as they confront these challenges.

In conclusion, the Somali people are sending a powerful message to those who would dare to violate their sovereignty: we are a proud nation, and we will stand firm against any aggression. The legacy of Somalia is one of dignity, resilience, and an unwavering spirit.

Long Live Somalia! Long live the Somali people!
