Oops! Amare Hassan Did It Again!

Ayrotv.com-Saylac- In an age where truth is often stranger than fiction, we find ourselves once again at the comedic crossroads of absurdity and delusion, courtesy of none other than Amare Hassan. Yes, the same Amare Hassan who seems to be auditioning for a role in a tragicomedy titled “The Great Claim.” One can only wonder if he missed the memo that history is not a blank canvas to be painted over with the whims of the imagination.

Let’s rewind the tape, shall we? History has taught us that while some have the audacity to claim ownership of legacies they never built, others simply shake their heads in disbelief. Amare, from that illustrious tribe of Ciise which couldn’t muster a mere 1% in the 1960 elections of Somaliland, now struts about with claims that could make a seasoned comedian blush One must applaud the audacity, after all, it takes a special kind of bravery to proclaim oneself the rightful heir to lands that have been historically associated with the Gadaboursi.

Ah, the Gadaboursi! A name that echoes through the annals of Somali history, revered and respected long before Amare’s ancestors were even a footnote. Where was Amare when the French and British were courting the Gadaboursi UGAAS (King) back in 1884? Perhaps he was busy crafting his family tree or flipping through the pages of a history book that never quite made it to his shelf.

One might wonder if Amare believes that the invasions in far-off lands somehow grant him a free pass to rewrite history. “Dream, dream!” we can hear him thinking, “If Putin can invade Ukraine, and the US can topple Iraq, why shouldn’t Ciise lay claim to Gadaboursi regions?” It’s a fantastical thought, but one that crumbles under the weight of reality.

Let’s take a moment to remind Mr. Hassan and his cousins that the Gadaboursi are not merely a footnote in a grand narrative but a well-known major tribe with roots that dig deep into the fabric of Somali identity. The attempt to spin a narrative of entitlement based on propaganda and wishful thinking will not alter the historical truths that have long been recognized.

So, dear Amare, while you and your tribe Ciise may wish to dance on the stage of delusion, remember that the audience is well-informed and not easily fooled by the antics of a self-proclaimed comedian. Your claims may be entertaining, but they lack the substance that history demands. In the grand theatre of life, it’s clear that keeping up with false narratives will never grant you the right to the land of the Gadaboursi.

As we conclude this satire, let’s all raise a toast to Amare Hassan and his tribe Ciise, the Tribe who dared to dream, perhaps just a bit too far beyond the realm of reality. Here’s to hoping they finds a better script next time!
