Somalia has become a member of the International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA), an international organization dedicated to the development of nuclear energy and peace use. This step was announced at the 68th IAEA conference held in Vienna city Austria. The participation of Somalia means the commitment of peace and development through responsible nuclear practices, with the aim of helping the IAEA operation.
