The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (@MOFASomalia) successfully hosted the 4th Conference of Somalia’s Diaspora Returnees today in #Mogadishu.
The event was officially opened by Deputy Minister Isaak Mohamud Mursal and Permanent Secretary Hamza Adan Haadoow, who highlighted the invaluable contributions of the Somali diaspora to the nation’s rebuilding efforts. Both leaders reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to fostering stronger ties with diaspora communities as key partners in Somalia’s development and prosperity.
This vital initiative, spearheaded by the Director of Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Huure Mohamed, provided a platform for productive dialogue and collaboration, ensuring that the diaspora remains at the forefront of Somalia’s progress.
The conference reflects the Ministry’s dedication to engaging with all Somalis, both at home and abroad, to collectively work towards a united, stable, and thriving Somalia.
